V Returning

I just read this at Dark Horizons and its great that it all seems back on Dark Horizons wrote:

Talk of a sequel or remake of the 80's alien invasion mini-series classic "V" has long been in the works, now it seems something might be moving again. In 2004, original series creator Kenneth Johnson proposed to the networks a sequel. He was later asked to write a script for a remake instead and if successful, the remake could lead to a sequel. Two years later Johnson announced his completion of a four hour script entitled "V: The Second Generation" set 20 years after the original mini-series. Networks however showed little interest at the time. Then, last week Johnson released the manuscript in novel form in booksellers and this week revealed on his official site that there will be a major announcement soon to be announced "after the writers strike". This was followed by a short message to a DH reader saying "I really hope you enjoy the novel. Stay tuned for the film version. All the best". Ignoring events of the second mini-series "The Final Battle", 'Second Generation' has Earth still under Visitor domination and the Resistance fighting a losing battle as the majority believe that the Visitors have only helped them. It's then that the message Julie sent into space at the end of the original miniseries is finally heard and an army of aliens, the long-sought enemies of the Visitors, reinforces the Resistance in their time of need. However, all is not as it seems.

Sounds good I hope it happens now

Deathly Hallows... Two Films?

I just Read this on 'ain'titcool'

Word is that the crew of the Potter series have been told to plan for the final book, The Deathly Hallows, to be filmed and released as two movies. Apart from an obvious financial angle, this also makes a whole lot of sense considering just how dense and long the final book is. I love it and I love the idea of doing the book justice with more screen time dedicated to the adaptation, just as long as they release the movies Matrix-like within a few months of each other. I think it'd also make the release of the final chapter of this huge franchise a little more special, too... makes it more of an event.

I really like this idea too I think it could be really great

New Indy Trailer Described

I read this on ain't it cool.com and now it may not be true but it sounds good

Here is the info: The trailer starts off with the Paramount logo, then shows the idol from the start of RAIDERS. Words come across the screen and say, "He found the Ark..." Then clips from TEMPLE OF DOOM as it says, "He survived the Temple..." Then clips of the third movie and, "He saved the Grail." Then it shows a clip of a car pulling up and Indiana being thrown from the car. Then it says, "On May 22nd... he is back," and it shows him picking up his hat and the silhouette of Indiana Jones. Cue theme song. Some really fast action scenes follow, and the highlight is a car chase scene in the warehouse where RAIDERS ends. One quick shot shows a box that is labled "Roswell". The trailer shows Cate Blanchett with dark hair ordering around troops. The teaser then shows what looks to be a huge Mayan temple where the actors fall through quicksand, and the temple opens up and they start running down a long staircase where the stairs are coming out from the walls. After some more quick action scenes, the trailer ends with Shia Labeouf standing at the bottom of stairs and looking up to Harrison Ford. Shia says, "I thought you said you were a teacher?!?!" After two quick scenes where Indiana is punching a guy, it cuts back to Harrison and he replies, "Part time!" I wasn't expecting much, but I was more than surprised and pleased with what I saw.

Bond film Named!!!!!

The new James Bond film - the 22nd in the series - is called Quantum of Solace. Actor Daniel Craig is currently on set filming the movie at Pinewood Studios, west London. This will conclude in June and the movie will be released in November. Quantum of Solace will be Craig's second stint as 007 - his first was Casino Royale. The name comes from a short story in Ian Fleming's For Your Eyes Only. British newcomer Gemma Arterton, 21, fresh out of drama school, will play the role of MI6 Agent Fields. And Ukrainian model and actress Olga Kurylenko has been cast as the new Bond girl, the "dangerously alluring" Camille. Dame Judi Dench said her character "M" will be "kicking more ass" in the film

Teken Film Coming!!

Dwight Little ("Rapid Fire," "Murder at 1600") is going to direct "Tekken," a futuristic martial arts actioner based on the bestselling Japanese video game from Namco reports Variety. "The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people. It's a gladiator story, but the videogame has a complicated enough storyline that it provides the template for a martial arts spectacular" says Little. Alan McElroy wrote the script. Crystal Sky Pictures is financing the film, which begins production on February 4th in Shreveport, Louisiana.

I love the Teken games so I'm looking forward to this one...I wonder will the little Japanese school girl be in it? Or the kangaroo or polar bear?? I want to see the different variations of Jack though
