The Dark Knight: Joker Introduction Revealed

This has been revealed lately on how the Joker is first brought into the film and I do like the idea....I hope they have the Joker much more darker and sinster than in the 89 movie....more like the DC comics would be better.....
The Dark Knight begins with the Joker robbing a huge bank (we’ve seen photos of this everywhere). The bank is where the mob and all the gangs in Gotham keep all of their money. The Joker takes this money and holds it “ransom”. The Joker then says to the mob and the gangs of Gotham, “If you help me take down Batman, you’ll get your money back. If not, I’m going to burn it all.” This is how the Joker assembles his army to take down Batman

Champions movie

Guillermo Del Toro is to write and direct a movie version of the hit 60s TV show Champions. It featured 3 government agents working for an intelligence agency called Nemesis, which was based in Geneva. The agents were played by Stuart Damon, Alexandra Bastedo and William Gaunt. When the agents were injured in a plane crash they were given superhuman powers which they used to combat crime.

Dallas back on but Different!!

Apparently the movie version of Dallas is back on, albeit without most of the cast that was once supposed to be involved. Betty Thomas is supposed to be directing and while John Travolta is likely sticking around as J.R., the rest of the cast needs filled. The early script which some had thought was being turned into a parody, may have been tossed. They’re going back to making it a serious movie in the vein of the television series. They’re also supposedly tossing out the notion of big name actors in all the parts (save Travolta) James Brolin has rumoured to already have agreed to play the part of Jock Ewing...... Minka Kelly is said to be Pam Ewing,.....Diane Ladd, has been approached to play Miss Ellie and Julie Bentz as Sue Ellen.
I actually perfer the idea of it being more serious......

Sly has a Death Wish???

Sylvester Stallone is in talks to both direct and star in a remake of the Charles Bronson 1974 movie vigilante classic "Death Wish" reports the trades. Michael Ferris and John Brancato, the scribes behind "Terminator 3" and the upcoming fourth film, are penning the script in which Stallone will play an ordinary man who goes vigilante after his wife and daughter are attacked.
Oh I don't know about Sly for this role at all??? He just doesn't seem right ....though at least its not Nicholas Cage lol

Clash of the Titans Remake

Latino Review reports that Warner Bros. Pictures is interested in having director Robert Rodriguez in charge of the "Clash of the Titans" remake. Rodriguez had previous been in talks at Warner to helm either a live-action "The Jetsons" movie or a big screen version of "Land of the Lost" before being associated with "Barbarella". With the camp sci-fi remake now on hold for a while, this could be now his new project... The original 1984 classic is an adaptation of the classic Greek myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda. Harry Hamlin, Maggie Smith, Laurence Olivier, Burgess Meredith, Ursula Andress, and a bunch of Ray Harryhausen stop motion animated creatures starred. "Raiders of the Lost Ark" screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan and Travis Beacham ("Killing on Carnival Row") have both penned drafts of the script.

Beowulf

Just looked at the trailer there and I have to say Robert Zemeckis's film looks the amazing...he used a special technique of digitally enhanced live action. (Motion Capture) and has a cast list as long as your arm including Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie, Brendan Gleeson, and Robin Wright Penn...oh and that guy from Enterprise (oh well I suppose it can't be all good... eh Cat? lol) The story is based on the epic poem, Beowulf and is about a man who comes to a town to rid it of the monstrosity known as Grendel who terrorizes it.
They also plan on using 3D projection technology on a larger scale than previous films before it Anyway check out the trailer ...here's a link!!
