Deathly Hallows... Two Films?

I just Read this on 'ain'titcool'

Word is that the crew of the Potter series have been told to plan for the final book, The Deathly Hallows, to be filmed and released as two movies. Apart from an obvious financial angle, this also makes a whole lot of sense considering just how dense and long the final book is. I love it and I love the idea of doing the book justice with more screen time dedicated to the adaptation, just as long as they release the movies Matrix-like within a few months of each other. I think it'd also make the release of the final chapter of this huge franchise a little more special, too... makes it more of an event.

I really like this idea too I think it could be really great

New Indy Trailer Described

I read this on ain't it cool.com and now it may not be true but it sounds good

Here is the info: The trailer starts off with the Paramount logo, then shows the idol from the start of RAIDERS. Words come across the screen and say, "He found the Ark..." Then clips from TEMPLE OF DOOM as it says, "He survived the Temple..." Then clips of the third movie and, "He saved the Grail." Then it shows a clip of a car pulling up and Indiana being thrown from the car. Then it says, "On May 22nd... he is back," and it shows him picking up his hat and the silhouette of Indiana Jones. Cue theme song. Some really fast action scenes follow, and the highlight is a car chase scene in the warehouse where RAIDERS ends. One quick shot shows a box that is labled "Roswell". The trailer shows Cate Blanchett with dark hair ordering around troops. The teaser then shows what looks to be a huge Mayan temple where the actors fall through quicksand, and the temple opens up and they start running down a long staircase where the stairs are coming out from the walls. After some more quick action scenes, the trailer ends with Shia Labeouf standing at the bottom of stairs and looking up to Harrison Ford. Shia says, "I thought you said you were a teacher?!?!" After two quick scenes where Indiana is punching a guy, it cuts back to Harrison and he replies, "Part time!" I wasn't expecting much, but I was more than surprised and pleased with what I saw.

Bond film Named!!!!!

The new James Bond film - the 22nd in the series - is called Quantum of Solace. Actor Daniel Craig is currently on set filming the movie at Pinewood Studios, west London. This will conclude in June and the movie will be released in November. Quantum of Solace will be Craig's second stint as 007 - his first was Casino Royale. The name comes from a short story in Ian Fleming's For Your Eyes Only. British newcomer Gemma Arterton, 21, fresh out of drama school, will play the role of MI6 Agent Fields. And Ukrainian model and actress Olga Kurylenko has been cast as the new Bond girl, the "dangerously alluring" Camille. Dame Judi Dench said her character "M" will be "kicking more ass" in the film

Teken Film Coming!!

Dwight Little ("Rapid Fire," "Murder at 1600") is going to direct "Tekken," a futuristic martial arts actioner based on the bestselling Japanese video game from Namco reports Variety. "The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people. It's a gladiator story, but the videogame has a complicated enough storyline that it provides the template for a martial arts spectacular" says Little. Alan McElroy wrote the script. Crystal Sky Pictures is financing the film, which begins production on February 4th in Shreveport, Louisiana.

I love the Teken games so I'm looking forward to this one...I wonder will the little Japanese school girl be in it? Or the kangaroo or polar bear?? I want to see the different variations of Jack though

Gellar as McGee's Alice

Sarah Michelle Gellar has confirmed that she is still attached to play Alice in a big screen adaptation of the dark "Alice in Wonderland" video game. 'American McGee's Alice' This was always a game I wanted to have a go at many years ago now but never did...this news has sort of brought these feelings back now because it got some great reviews....its like a horror Alice in Wonderland and was mean't to be very creepy Game Plot: Shortly after her second adventure, Alice's parents are killed in a fire of which she is the only survivor. Becoming catatonic she is institutionalized in Rutledge Asylum. Years later, the White Rabbit summons Alice to aid a radically altered Wonderland, now under the despotic rule of the Queen of Hearts. The Cheshire Cat in particular now looks very different from Sir John Tenniel's original illustration: he is shown here as skeletally thin and his grin looks more devious than mischievous. When he first appears in the game, Alice comments, "You've gone quite mangy, cat, but your grin's a comfort." The cat serves as Alice's constant companion throughout the game, frequently appearing to guide her or offer advice.

Alcohol Can Make You Live Longer

Read this on the BBC News site and I just thought I'd post it......just goes to show there is a new different research every two minutes and that we are bombarded with varied ones all the time

A little alcohol 'can be healthy'

Experts warned that over-indulgence could pose severe health risks A little alcohol combined with a healthy active lifestyle may be the best recipe for a longer life. A European Heart Journal study suggests the combination can cut the risk of heart disease. A Danish team found people who led an active lifestyle were less prone to heart disease - but the risk was cut still further if they drank moderately. However, UK experts warned people should not be encouraged to drink, as too much alcohol can be very damaging.

So lets all drink moderately to save the NHS lol

Heath Ledger Dead

Heath Ledger was found dead at his Manhattan residence Tuesday in a possible drug overdose, a New York police spokesman confirms. He was 28. Ledger was found in the bedroom of his Soho apartment around 3:30 p.m. by his housekeeper and a masseuse who had arrived for an appointment with the actor, according to the Associated Press and New York Times. Ledger, who was in bed, did not respond when they shook him, and the housekeeper called 911. He was pronounced dead at 3:45 p.m. ET. Authorities said they did not suspect foul play but that pills were found near the body. The Perth, Australia, native was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for 2005's Brokeback Mountain, on whose set he met – and began a romantic relationship with Michelle Williams and had a daughter named Matilda Rose, in New York on Oct. 28, 2005. However Ledger and Williams, who shared a brownstone together in Brooklyn, split in September 2007. Ledger began his acting career in 1996, when he was 17, in an Australian TV series called Sweat. In August 2006, Warner Bros. announced that Ledger would play the Joker in The Dark Knight, a sequel to 2005's Batman Begins....This film could be seriously delayed now too
